162-0 is a free baseball roster-building game. You spin a franchise and an era, draft a legend into an open spot, and find out whether your all-time team is good enough to win every game and finish a perfect season. It is quick to learn, hard to master, and built to be replayed.
162-0 was created by Todd Lemieux and published by Lemieux Strategic Solutions. I'm an independent builder, baseball fan, and the person who writes the site's data pipeline, tunes the game, and publishes its analysis. There isn't an anonymous editorial staff behind these pages: if a formula or interpretation is wrong, it is mine to explain and correct.
I built the arcade around a simple idea: a quick game can still show its work. The player pool comes from established historical data, the rating and simulation choices are documented in the methodology, and the articles use actual outputs from this build. There's no login wall, spam, or pay-to-win.
162-0 is the first of five sibling games. They all share the same "build a perfect record" engine, reskinned for a different world. If you like one, you'll probably like the rest:
The slot machine never lets you cherry-pick your dream team — it hands you a random franchise and decade, and you have to make the most of whoever was great there and then. Every draft is a fresh set of trade-offs, and the different modes flip the whole goal on its head: hide the stats, add a salary cap, or try to build the worst team in history. No two runs feel the same.
These games are free and deliberately ad-light, and they always will be. If you've gotten a few good runs out of them and want to help keep new modes and new games coming, you can reach out or chip in below — every bit goes straight back into building.
